To be able to carry out batch analyses in ANSLAB a few things must be done beforehand, namely adjusting the settings
and preparing a batch file.
Adjusting settings
Since in general batch analyses run without any user interaction necessary, it is important to
adjust all settings needed for the intended analyses beforehand. Hence, for each analysis to be carried out
visit the respective settings page in the ANSLAB options (see
this page)
and check and, if needed, adjust the settings accordingly. Take special care to also specify the right channel name
for each analysis on the respective settings page. Otherwise ANSLAB will not be able to locate the right channels and, as a consequence,
will not be able to load data from raw files.
It is also important to let ANSLAB know the correct channel names to be expected in the files
to be processed. Depending on the file format of your raw data, the respective settings can be found
in the ANSLAB options (channel naming pages; in case of text files use the 'TXT analysis options' page to configure
the import of text files).
Preparing a batch file
A batch file is a simple text file consisting of one file name per row (including the full path to the respective file).
You may either create such a text file yourself. A more convenient way, however, is to let ANSLAB create the batch file for you
(see
this page).
